My son brought home Rock Band and could 5 star every song that day. I think it's the same game, different list of songs. If you're an Expert on GH, you've already mastered Rock Band.

For the same reason you'd buy Rock Band; the set list. That's the genius about these games they can keep cranking them out without a change in technology or graphics and they'll sell very well. I think in the end the boys at GH will add drums and vocals to their game as well. It isn't that tough.

Rock Band is a cool concept but in the end not significantly different and not necessarily better. The drums are cool but they're loud and can keep you from hearing the actual song. If you think the strum bar for the guitar is annoying, wait until you hear these drums. They need to find a way to make them quieter. Vocals are a cool feature but to my kid totally irrelevant. He has no interest in singing and certainly doesn't want to do it on Xbox live where other people will hear him. Finally we come to Bass. You want to give me one reason why a player with the chance to feel like a virtual rock star picks the bass? It's pointless. To summarize, Rock Band is cooler than GH for the drums. I have no doubt GH will offer the same soon. If guitar is all you're interested in then GH remains the superior choice.

Are you making fun of bass players just to tease me? Playing bass is the most fun in a band. I love playing bass.
