I actually wish he was still there and told you guys that when he left. After he sufficiently offended the entire LDS community and lost it mentally, he had lost his recruiting advantage and was destined for mediocrity.

did you see the game in 1973, where the final score was 11-6? Was it played outdoors in a blizzard?

Some teams would hold the ball at half court for a half to give them a chance in a game they were outmatched. Brandenburg at Wyoming did this a few times with BYU.

the only thing i saw on sportscenter was the score. nobody commented, that i am aware of, except for you, that it is indicative of majerus being a poor offensive coach.

Majerus was a hell of a coach. Anyone who denies that is either obsessed with hating Majerus the person or doesn't understand basketball.

Majerus recruited players that nobody else wanted. He was the master of teaching players how to play the game of basketball and the evidence is players like Van Horn, Doleac and Miller being lottery picks. They were willing to listen to Majerus and work their butts off and the reward was being drafted in the lottery. All of them were very much under the radar when in high school.

And the only people in the LDS community that was offended by Majerus were zoobs and hypersensitive ninny Ute fans.
