Default I'm ashamed to admit

that marsupial and I just watched Benchwarmers. That was a horrible movie. We kept asking each other "Should we turn it off?" But we just sat there like zombies watching stupid scene after stupid scene. I wish John Heder the best, but that was awful acting.

Tobias: No, it never does. I mean, these people somehow delude themselves into thinking it might, but...but it might work for us.

My kids love this movie. I suppose that it's geared more toward them.

I'll admit that I loved Reggie Jackson and his teaching them eye/hand coordination and speed skills. Heder's character's brother made me laugh too:

"How about the moon?"

"Not a fan."

Was the worst movie I saw in 06.

I laughed twice, both times were because of Jon Lovitz. When he pulled up in the Batmobile I busted a gut. Probably because I had just watched some old Adam West Batmans with my son. I also laughed when he showed them his nipples. The rest of the movie was just me being too tired to get up and turn off the TV.

Movies like that are funny if you realize you need to check your brain at the door and pretend you're in middle school again. In that mindset, it was somewhat amusing.

That's true when it comes to Tommy Boy, Dumb and Dumber and an Adam Sandler movie here and there...but even something like Benchwarmers wasn't even remotely close to as funny as those.

The movie was horrible. The kids watched it in the van on a trip and I relived the movie the whole trip. I think that was the Vegas Bowl trip, so I guess it was OK.

The beef stew joke actually got kind of funny when seen in person.
