I have a few accounts with banks out of state that I continue to use since my move back to Salt Lake. But I am interested in opening up an account with a local credit union for checking and maybe loans in the future. Anyone have one they recommend?

You could go to the whore of all Credit Unions America First. At times their rates are great, at other times they suck. Their on-line banking, IMO, is world class, there are branches literally everywhere and chances are if you are selling a vehicle, dealing with money transactions between persons, the other party is a member.

I have been satisfied with AFCU and still keep my account there despite being in Oregon. Does this mean that I like whores?

America First Credit Union is the best. They put the banks to shame.

I'm with Jordan Credit Union. Been there since I opened a savings account as a 12 year old kid in 1976. I've never had a problem.
