Anybody else a fan of the TV show "The Unit"?
When I first saw ads for this series I didn't think too much of it. But when I learned that the series was written and directed by David Mamet, I had to give it a try. I've always been a huge fan of David Mamet. Nobody writes dialogue the way he does. If you haven't seen the show, do yourself a favor and check it out. It might just be the most well written show on television.

It's a great show. Very refreshing to see CBS has something besides crime dramas too. Well written and acted. Apparently it's loosely based off the book "Inside Delta Force". I may have to check that one out.

It's one of the few network shows that I watch. Very, very good show and I agree, excellent writing.

With a name like "the unit" I would have thought it would be part of the late night skinemax
