It's funny how small the world is. I took Thrill on Cougarboard (who used to date a girl my apartment was friends with) to a basketball game at the Marriott Center right before he went into the MTC.

Frankly, he remembers that occasion a lot better than I do. The only reason why we ever connected the dots, other than somehow figuring out we both knew that girl, was that he remembered this poster that my roommates gave me for my birthday.

I have never met any of you in person, I like to keep it that way. I have my wife wondering if any of this is real or just a psyctzophrenic fantasy of mine.

One of the guys in my ward was surprised to find out I was Mike WAters on CB. This was before CG. I'm not sure what Mike Waters is supposed to look like.

On this same vein I think it is interesting the people that you know that do not match their message board persona. The people that I know on the boards are very different in real life.

Interesting, most of the ones I have met are pretty much how they are in real life.

So in a research conference, my head boss after hearing my research idea, says "You are lighting a match over a barrel of gasoline."

I think my internet persona and real life personal intersect quite nicely.

The consistent feedback I've received is that I'm much more laidback and much nicer in person. So I guess my online persona is mean and uptight. Oh, and close-minded, that's the other favorite, can't forget that one.
