I thought his billboards were/are lame.

He sounds slimely

Interesting article. People like this are a blight. Charlatans in the worst form. His last quote, where he spoke of his quest to make a difference in the world, was enlightening. He preys upon people's greed while making them think they're doing something positive.

As an aside, City Weekly usually does a pretty nice job with these pieces. I don't particularly care for their op/ed, but I really like their investigative journalism.

Sounds a lot like an old scheme Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon ran called the Kirtland Saftey Society. We are fine, the state regulators are evil.

He used to do a radio show on KTALK. The Free Capitalist, here to "turn your brain on" and show you the "principles of prosperity". Funny though he'd never actually talk about HOW to make money, it was just a mismash of slogans and nice sounding platitudes designed to get you to attend one of his "free" seminars. His disciples would call in a parrot back his sayings, it was like some cult thing. Creepy.

I didn't know he was some equity-miller - sounds like a crook. There's alot of that stuff going on around here. My BIL is into the same thing.

City Weekly is a damn good alternative paper. I'd take it over most major market alternative papers.

I'd heard about this Koerber guy but not in this much detail. I hope all his weird billboards will now vanish
