Maybe we are good afterall?
New Mexico shoots 14-26 on 3s and still gets blown out? Now I know it's New Mexico, but you'd still think they'd be in the game when shooting like that from distance.

Their shooting was amazing. And probably more amazing that they couldn't stay in the game or cut it to single digits ever. We had our way with them offensively.

I only caught the end of the game where they hit several 3's.
All those looks were wide-open, not anyone near them. Which sort of disappointed me, even if the game was already decided. MOV is still important to convince the public at large. Don't give the other team free points. |

I kind of agree with both of you. UNM did hit some wild 3's with hands in the face. There were also times we didn't have quite the same defensive intensity. It was like we knew we could score at will and the game was never in danger, so there wasn't quite the same defensive urgency the whole game. Other coaches might have slowed the game down and grinded out a 25 point win, but I got the feeling with a one week rest ahead of us, Rose liked the pace of the game for the sake of experience.
