If they've really found what they think they've found, "wow" pretty much sums it up.

As for the side story in that article, I feel much better knowing that the black hole in the center of our galaxy is only half the size originally thought. That makes me feel much better.

about the total destruction of the earth by a black hole.

Because we know that light can't escape a black hole, when the time comes and everything is getting sucked into the black hole, I'll make sure that there are no lights on at my house. That way, the black hole will think that it either already destroyed my house or that nothing is there.

You all may do the same if you feel so inclined.

I often spend too much time figuring out ways to cheat death and destruction.

Another way to outsmart a black hole is to set your clock back at least an hour from the true time. I'm not sure exactly how that works, but it has something to do with the event horizon at the edge of the black hole...or something like that.
