here we are in December and it looks like byu is ruled out for an ncaa bid. good thing rose had everyone convinced of how good a coach he is, despite the undisciplined soft product he rolls out with no shame. maybe someone can send rose a vhs tape on fundamentals of defense. maybe a YouTube link would work.

This team was highly promoted, but its complete lack of defense is its undoing. Rose's teams have not played much defense since Heath Shroyer left. Heath did not do much as a head coach, but he was decent on defense.

The defense is poor in large part due to a very thin front line, but the guards also play iffy defense at times. His best defensive players often don't see the court because he uses the best offensive guards for points production.
