Default Boyd K. Packer slapped my Stake President

Apparently before the Saturday PM adult session of stake conference began, President Packer and my Stake President met privately and discussed a few gospel topics.

Then during the session, with President Packer at the podium, he stopped his lecture and said, "I'd like President Heap to take the stand and tell you about a topic that we discussed this afternoon."

But he didn't say which topic.

So President Heap began discussing temple attendance, and President Packer slapped him upside the back of his head!! President Heap stopped and switched his topic to the ministering of angels coming through the Aaronic Priesthood.

That was the topic President Packer wanted him to lecture on.

Wow.

That's funny. If it were President Hinckley the general membership would still be laughing about the time he smacked a SP with his cane for addressing the wrong subject.

OT, but is Heap the most common LDS last name? In almost every ward/stake I've been in there has been a Heap family.

I'm sure Smith and Young are much more common. I've never known anyone named Heap.

Everyone in my freshman ward at BYU loved this girl, last name Heap. She was from Palos Verdes, CA and was quite the little vixen.

would have been a minor issue at the time. To start speaking on the ministering of angels without prior prep, that would have been enough to stop the heart.

Heap is not as common as Christensen and its spelling variants.
