not really going well for Jimmer. No points last night. Prior game was DNP. From what little I saw, he looked very passive on offense. Standing in the corner doing nothing. I guess that is what the coach wants, for floor spacing.

Jimmer with 21 minutes last night? Maybe his career isn't over after all.

24 minutes and 14 points tonight in an OT loss. Was +6 on the floor against San Antonio.

Watched Jimmer and the Pelicans defeat the Hawks tonight, to end the 5th longest win streak in NBA history.

Jimmer had a lot of minutes tonight. We saw both the good and the bad.

The bad:

1. Jimmer was targeted on D, and had a really hard time staying in front of Schroder. They were doing iso on Jimmer and it wasn't pretty.

2. Jimmer turned the ball over. He had 3 turnovers at the top of the key trying to make basic short passes that were blocked. He just looked overmatched.

3. Jimmer struggled to bring the ball up the floor against Schroder's full court pressure. By the time he got the ball up the floor, there wasn't much time left on the shot clock.

The good:

1. He hit a couple of 3s. 10 points total.

2. He had 3 assists.

Jimmer gave up as many points as he scored, plus maybe a few more. But the coach trusted him with 21 minutes in a big game, so that's great for Jimmer.

Jimmer came in during the 2nd quarter. The highlight was the last shot of the half as he brought the ball up the court, made a good fake go by his man 30 feet out and then went right to the rim and made a layup over (next to?) Dirk. The other positive was an assist to long-haired boy at the 3.

Downsides were 2 bad turnovers, and a missed wide open 3, with the Dallas commentators mentioning his atrocious 3 point shooting this year. 18%. And Devin Harris blew by him a couple times for layups.

But, Harris also blew by Gordon later in the game.

If Jimmer could have not turned the ball over and hit that wide open 3, then he is playing more to his potential.
