Default Middle East books

I'm almost done with Friedman's "The World is Flat" and need something else to read. I'd like to learn more about the Middle East. Any suggestions? I know that Friedman (From Beirut to Jerusalem) has a book out, anyone read it? Looking for something that is balanced.

Regards,
Brian

Default Excellent Book

"From Beirut to Jerusalem" is outstanding. Highly recommended. Given the fact that Friedman is Jewish, it is surprisingly well-balanced.

(Woohoo! My first Cougarguard post.)
