"Mr Crimson decided one day that he was sick of me trolling the yoot board (this was back in 2001, i was a BAD troll on their board)

he decided to email the honor code office telling them that i post pornographic content on their board, that i brag about breaking the honor code, that i swear all the time on their board and that i was a bad representative of a BYU student.

i got called into the honor code office one day, went in and was told was i was being accused of, i had Kugrmaniac, TAI and Coug write letters stating that these accusations were false (the webmonkey on the yoot board would not step in, the yewt!)

but the honor code guy decided that he believed Mr Crimson over me, put me on probation for 6 months, told me i needed to have several meetings with my bishop, keep a journal of the changes in my life, etc.

yeah, talk about ridiculous!

well it was at this time that i realized i'd never get into the BYU business school with my grades (3.0 average, not bad by any means but not Marriott School material), so i put in my transfer to UVSC and didn't worry about the honor codes stupid requirements for my probation."

lol, I am sure i am in the minority (well, maybe not over here), but I still think the whole thing is hilarious. Y'z was like Bill@KK x 10 because of the sheer percentage of total posts on utefans being his combined with the fact that they didn't have the ignore feature. For any who missed it, here is a link to one of the funniest things to happen on cougarboard/utefans that i can remember.

I join you in thinking it was funny and I said so on cb today. I know there are others. What I do not understand is why so many are defending the guy. He was an absolute douchebag in those days.

I personally believe that Mr. Crimson probably did only forward some of Y'zguys posts and the HC office took care of the rest. I'm no fan of the HC offic and I don't put it past them to punish without proof. However Mr. Crimson's side of the story makes the HC office's reaction seem much more reasonable.
