Default So with Levi,

at Disco, if Ulrich and Basso followed, what a team that would make.

What I don't understand is the courting of these riders who have likely cheated. Does Disco. know something we don't? Is the evidence against these guys weaker than I've been led to believe or is it normal to lock such guys into a contract then dump them if the allegations are proven?

I'd take Basso but not Ullrich. Ullrich is old, relatively, and he would not be likely to want to play second fiddle to Basso, wihch is what he would need to do.

I suspect it would be a contingent offer.

I'm not rooting for a non-American, I don't care what team they are on.

Discovery, if it wants to be an American team, needs freaking American riders. End of story.

A firend just forwarded an article to me saying that Ullrich is talking to Disco. Nothing about Basso at this point. I don't see Basso and Ullrich as being compatible in the long run. Ullrich is talking about maybe only riding one more year. No tlak about possible suspension except for hiim to say he refuses to take the DNA test becasue he is not a criminal and that he did not cheat.

A better explanation would have been, "I refuse to provide DNA because I have nothing to hide."

LOL.

I could see Jan with Disco for one year. If he is on for the TTs then he'd have the strategy and team to finally win. It would pretty much cement his name in the books as the 2nd best rider of the decade (2nd only to Lance).
