BTW, the stock market is not celebrating an Obama presidency
Speaks volumes.

So does the stock market's brilliant and insightful rise during the Internet boom followed by its repeated striking of gold from financial institutions in 2006. Market, lead the way to wisdom!

Did it rally before or after '94?

Neither Obama nor McCain have won anything yet.
The market IS, however, tanking under the hand of GWB. Same with our currently economy. Housing. Government spending. That dude is so lucky it is an election year because he has basically been given a free pass for the past 6 or 8 months. My guess is that Republicans are tired of defending him.

Obama is different. He really believes in his socialist policies.

'94 is when the Repubs gained the majority. I may not remember correctly, but it seems that the economy started to get going during Clinton's time when he worked with Repubs rather than his own party.

It did take off after 94 but pre-94 (when he has his power) was not abysmal.
