I wonder how many people will go this route in MMA. The day of bangers may be over.

Why bang, when you can counter, win a decision, consume little damage, cut down on scar tissue and ready yourself to fight again soon?

Yeah that was disappointing. I love Chris Leben, not much style but he always comes forward. I loved how at the end he dropped his hands and let Bisping hit, then Bisping tries to throw a head kick.

Did you hear about BJ telling Dana White if he beats GSP he wants Anderson Silva. Dana told him hell no. He said BJ is going to bitch and moan but he is not fighting Anderson Silva.

BJ needs to concentrate on his fight with GSP and this is coming from a huge Penn fan. Silva is on a completely different level.

To be honest I am not that bothered by it. I don't think Bisping has tried this tactic in the past. I think it was just the strategy his camp wanted to employ against Leben who is one sided, predictable, yet still dangerous. Ask Terry Martin. I think it was smart. Leben won't stop coming forward, how else do you fight someone like that?

People will still bang.
