Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

My fear of the 2nd Amendment being removed may not be that far away.

Common sense says that criminals don't go through the legal channels to get their guns. Could Obama be more of a fucking dumbass about this?

American traditions are dying, and the respect of our forefathers is changing. Current urbanites don't respect the frontier, don't understand it.

Think of it this way, the current electorate wants "free universal health care", economic prosperity without risk, bailouts for every failed and inefficient industry, taxation penalties on successful persons or industries, and crimefree without penalty .......

We want it all at no cost, and we don't want to have to work for it.

The two most important things for me in any election year is lower taxes and the 2nd Amendment. If those are ignored or made unthinkable, then government dependence increases.
