Default NBA Finals, NHL Finals, World Cup, World Series...OR

Any football game during the opening weekend of College Football or the NFL...Which Would You Choose?

I think that some college and pro practices if televised could potentially draw more interest then these major sporting events. Football is America's Passion!

I would take Game 7 of a Stanley Cup Finals over anything.

BYU in a NC game would be first of course...

Super Bowl would be third.

I am such a goober. I would choose the dutch corner on the Alpe D'huez climb during the Tour de France. I know, not one of your original choices, but it would be very, very cool and a good time.

I knew I liked something about you live, despite your futball leanings.

Thats a good question, Drum.

College football is king in my house. But if it came down to choosing week 1or a game 7 in any major sport, I take the game 7.

Assuming they are well-matched teams, here are my choices in order:

1) MLB - There have been some dang good series over the past decade. They've earned the top spot on my list.
2) NBA - Even if the Pistons are in the finals.
3) Superbowl - For me, much of the drama is gone earlier in the NFL playoffs, much like March madness. Rounds 1 and 2 are by far my favorites (hoops, that is).
4) NHL - The one year I actually paid attention was 2001 between Colorado and Detroit, I believe, and it was very good stuff.
5) College Football week 1
6) Anything golf-related
7) Professional Bowling Assocation Reno Open - Says more about how I feel about soccer on tv. I hate bowling.
8) World Cup

I've already been to an NBA finals game and that was electric.

I just barely missed out on Game 7 of the Dbacks/Yankees World Series..courtesy of the now ex-wife. Still peeves me to this day.

I think I'd choose the SuperBowl, but who knows. I know the atmosphre at the World Cup would be crazy as well. I wish I could go. My brother lives in Germany, and I'd thought about but he's being deployed again, so that nixes that idea.
