I also will be there in spirit, and just to bother Arch I will be wearing a seer sucker shirt with regular platform pedals. This is only in spirit, you understand. Photos would be great.

At 5:00 a.m., I will not be there in spirit or in body. At 5:00 a.m. on any given day, both my body and spirit are firmly planted in bed.

But when I am able to roll out of bed, I'll think of you guys and the sore muscles you are suffering as a result of trying to "man up" and ride much faster and farther than you are actually physically capable of riding.

I will not be in attendance, but I insist someone brings a Spam Casserole and promptly posts an aggregate review.

Hell, no. We're doing sushi, filet mignon, together with eggs benedict, and creme flambet.

Also, we intend to dine upon smoked salmon, camembert, with rice pilaf and some vintage Diet Coke. (My kids will eat hot dogs and chicken from Burger King).

You suck by the way.

I'll bring my camera and take some pics - not of the ride because I'll miss that - but of the post spring game activities.

Arch -

I've thought about it, and 5am is just too early. Too dark, too dangerous on Utah roads. It's bad enough to ride in the dark..but combine that with the redneck attitude drivers and for me it spells trouble.

Going up the canyon from your starting point...you will be a Vivian Park by 5:45am...still pitch black (especially in the canyon). Leaving at that time of day, (and assuming you're going for 4 hours) you will be able to go as far up the canyon as you want to....Heber?

I'm a wimp, but I'd be willing to go if it was after 6:30am... I've lived in 5 different states, and Utah is the worst "rider friendly" state I've lived in.

1) night (dark)
2) little shoulder in canyon (after Vivian Park)
3) redneck Utah drivers

= can't do it.

Maybe some other time Archaea.

What about meeting about 6 or 6:15? We won't ride that long as I must lead the run at 8:00 and we could ride later on Sunday.

I could do that at 6-6:15.

I'll hang with you as long as I can. Where do you want to meet to start out?
