A pretty incredible movie if you haven't seen it yet.

I watched it on Sunday and was completely impressed.

Great flick.

Great flick.
I watched this movie last night. I had never heard of it before.

Great movie. I highly recommend it.

Its a true story of a young, highly successful French magazine editor who sustains a major stroke, leaving him with Locked-In Syndrome, meaning his brain is fully functioning, but the only thing he can physically control is his left eye.

I don't want to say too much, but it was a very moving and inspiring story.

I would also recommend this film. Very well done and surprisingly amusing at times, given the plot.

I think the story behind the book is supposed to be the inspiring part.

Your right. It was just OK for a guy on his death bed dictating his every word by blinking his left eye to an untrained transcriptionist. I've read better.

That was my impression of the movie. OK, but overrated.

Maybe. They tell you this much on the DVD cover, I think. Moreover, it certainly didn't spoil the amusing moments. I would still recommend this film as a rental. Very enjoyable and thought-provoking.
