Crowton leaves LSU for Maryland

Interesting that Miles gets an extension, and Crowton (apparently) gets the boot. A lot of LSU fans have been unhappy with Miles/Crowton. |

His offense has really sucked. Every LSU fan I know is rejoicing at this news.

His quarterbacks have sucked. I thought he called a masterful game against A&M. Given the quality of QB he had.
I know LSU fans have been frustrated. I just haven't followed the team closely enough to have an informed opinion on how much is Crowton's fault. Having said that, I would love LSU to suck even worse. These jokers actually want to run Miles out of town as well. Cornie dogs. |

Now I can hope for the demise of the Tigers completely.

He can go to church with Todd Heap, Haloti Ngata, and Dennis Pitta.

Interesting move now that LSU finally seems to have put something good on the field.
Next year they are expected to challenge for the national championship. New coordinator getting to know his new players could spell disaster in a tight SEC game. Either way, I am surprised Crowton lasted that long as LSU. Maryland seems to have some good, young, offensive talent. Maybe Crowton can work his first year magic and unseat VaTech as ACC Champs. |
