I want to just get on the record as saying re: Gay marriage
That I have no problem with any state having it if it decides it wants it. I would have a problem if any particular state had to recognize such marriages if it didn't want to. I know that this misaligns me someone with the church's active opposition of gay marriage, but I can't help my anti-federalist tendancies here. So long as the fed stays out of this one (in terms of foisting it on anyone) then I am content.
I view gun rights and abortion the same way (well guns rights is maybe slightly different).
