Default The final nail is being driven home

Cincy is reported in final discussions with Big 12 and UConn is speculate to receive the 12th spot.

If true, irrelevance is on the doorstep for BYU athletics.

these dumb ass cougar fans never saw it coming. Think they are so powerful and great and wanted.

They are totally unwanted and irrelevant.

I find it very hypocritical that church leaders are silent on LDS professional athletes playing on Sunday, and then leverage their popularity to help the church, yet at the same time are willing to kill BYU sports over this very issue.

Their policy should be to play the least games possible on Sunday, but to not 100% exclude the possibility.

The rumors on this have gone in every direction imaginable. No one really knows, including the people who run the B12. The article you linked was purely speculative with no inside info and was written by someone who lives in Cincinnati. On the other side, practically everything written by media close to David Boren and OU seem to say BYU is a favorite. Everyone is just trying to influence the process. No point in only believing the ones that are negative or positive toward BYU just to fit personal biases and opinions. Today there are others refuting yesterday's rumors. Par for the course.

Obviously I don't think BYU will be included. And we have hard evidence for why. Because the Big 12 already passed on BYU in favor of TCU.

They also passed on everyone else except TCU last time, including Louisville which they are kicking themselves in the butt about.

How can they be in final talks if they haven't even decided to expand?

They're not in any final talks. They're looking at data to help them decide if to expand and how many to invite.
