Actually, my wife is one of five children. Those four guns were just "our" take. Her brothers and sister took home even more. He had them stashed all through the house. After he died, my MIL kept looking around and finding more and more guns. At one point she said that it was a good thing he was already dead because if he were still alive she would kill him. (joking of course).
