The best christmas song ever recorded is Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is you"

The second place goes to the same song sung by the young girl in "love actually"

Everyone besides little drummer boy is tied for third. Little drummer boy is dead last

Clearly, clearly ya'll have forgotten "Hey Santa" by Wilson Phillips. I will let the omission slide, this time.

I love this time of year, when the spirit of giving is in the air, Christmas cheer abounds, the sound of carols fill the chapel halls, and I can permanently delete people from my "music credibility" list.

The only song I like to listen to this time of year is Captain Sensible's "One Christmas Catalog".

Not that I'm aware of, but if Rat does, I'd buy it.

I figured that you'd appreciate the Captain Sensible reference. And it is a great Christmas song.

Look me in the eye and tell me this isn't an incredible song. You can't!

Fortunately, the link did not work. Otherwise I would be forced to endure a Pariah Carey video.

The one video where she is jet skiing around in a bikini like James Bond...that one isnt so bad. But I dont think it is a christmas one, no?

The link is fixed and you still can't look me in the eye and tell me that MC can't bust out a great Christmas song. All I Want for Christmas has survived the test of time. Your reaction says more about you than her.

My wife is at the other end of the table doing some sort of something or other. I am at this end of the table surfing the web. I clicked on your link. She asked me, "why are you listening to THAT?" I closed the link.

I married the right person.
