1. Because Aggie fans claim to be the classiest fans in the nation, and they are not.
2. Because Aggie fans claim to never boo their team, but they do. 3. Because Aggie fans think that every top coach in the country would slit their wrists to coach at A&M, when in fact they get sleepy-headed old-man Sherman. 4. Because Aggies think that a liberal arts education is worthless, while at the same time claiming that tamu is the strongest university in the nation. 5. Because Aggies wear pretentious class rings all the time, in hopes of announcing that they are educated. (act like you have been their before). 6. Because A&M produces so many alcoholics (and not the funny kind either, but the kind that wrap their cars around innocent human beings). 7. Because A&M prides itself on being "no frat" when in fact there are frats and sororities everywhere. 8. Because the diversity on A&M's campus is about equivalent to the diversity in planted trees on the campus (the entire campus only has live oaks). 9. Because of the "little brother" mentality so prevalent among Aggies, that they rip anyone and anything that is superior to themselves. 10. Because of Texags. (self-evident). |

Really, A&M isn't a terrible place (although some aggie fans are indeed terrible).
But what it boils down to is that A&M's strengths are also their weaknesses. Unity is a good thing (it can be argued). But it can lead to exclusion and discrimination. It can lead to intolerance of things that are different. |

I have in fact defended Aggie fans here. I have no problem with the Aggies. However, if I were a born and bred Texan I think UT would be more to my taste.
