Default Do kind people wonder if they are kind?

Because I wonder whether I am kind, I take that as a sign that I am not. I figure the good people of the world do not wonder if they are good.

My wife says I hate children, with the exception of my own. That's a blessing right? To not hate your children? That's a mark in my favor, right?

They say that service performed with a black heart is worse than no service at all. Or at least worth nothing. I don't agree. Because then all the service I have done in my life is worthless.

Then you have the "there are worse people than me" arguments. Ted Bundy. Jeffrey Dahmer. Kobe Bryant.

I'm not so bad, I think. There are worse. I'm kind of kind sometimes.
