Default I've read in Slate where McCain has Arizona

I think they are seriously discounting the impact of the tribe. I'll bet Mitt wins Arizona

Do you really think there are enough Mormons there to swing that? I bet he can get a lot of that vote, but I wonder if it will be enough to get the state.

Even then, he should do well in other western states. Some commentator said the other night that Mitt will not do well out there. She should lose here job.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

6% of Arizonans (200k) are LDS...

In nevada there were 7.5% LDS. In the primary they made up 25% of voters. 94% of LDS voted for Romney.

Mitt's got a good chance in Arizona IMO

There are 25% less (percentage wise) Mormons in Arizona than in Nevada. And you can expect McCain to diminish Romney's stranglehold through the hometown vote. Romney might still get 80% (which looks a little cult like) but it probably wont be enough to bring it on home.

don't forget Nevada was a caucus. IF arizona isn't a caucus, it's a whole different ballgame.

In response to your avatar, Marsupial says "chicks before pricks."

Not a chance. Mitt will do well if he doesn't lose by double.
