Default How much do convenience stores rule?

A ton, I think.

I really enjoy heading over to 7-Eleven for lunch to grab a Big Bite with fresh toppings, a Big Gulp full of Diet Coke and a sweet treat. Maverick in Utah is another excellent convenience store. Their Hot Dogs don't touch 7-Eleven's but they make up for it in other areas, such as their frozen yogurt.

I started my convenience store patronage in Jr. High, but it really hit fever pitch on my mission. Nothing like heading into a Taiwanese 7-Eleven for a Big Gulp (only 32 oz., not the 44 oz. us Americans are blessed with) and some cold noodles. I'm now a full fledged convenience store junkie. I believe my life is better for it.

Gillispie at A&M mainly eats from convenience stores. You guys could probably go on a convenience store date.

That'd be nice, but I already have like three or four people at work I go to convenience stores with.

You probably wouldn't have had time to enjoy it in between baptizing entire villages.

One of my favorite lines from Raising Arizona:

"...I even found myself driving past convenience stores that were not on the way home."

You can't quote Raising Arizona without:

"Son... you've got panty on your head"

Taiwan is 7-11 Heaven. There are 2 or 3 per city block and many office buildings and semiconductor factories have a 7-11 inside. Nothing like getting a Snickers, Guava Juice, and a stinky egg for lunch -all at the same store.

<HomerSimpson>Mmm, stinky eggs, aauggghh</HomerSimpon> (NOTE: I don't know what the stinky eggs are called in Chinese)

Strangely I've never been a Slurpee fan. My horribly oppresive parents wouldn't let me drink caffeinated beverages until I was twelve (how they came up with that age I don't know).

Since then I've resented all non-caffeinated beverages. I won't touch Sprite, Root Beer, Squirt, Fresca, all varieties of Fanta, or most Slurpee's. I'll only drink a slurpee if it's Mt. Dew or Coke flavored. Plus, Slurpees give me a headache, they melt too fast, and you always have to move the straw around.
