Hezbollah is Satanism in it's purest form. Firing rockets from Civilian locations and then using those same Civilians as human shields.

I can hardly think of anything more satanic and despicable.

The fighting has been around for centuries and will continue. There's nothing Pres. Bush or "Pres Wannabe" Kerry could have done to stop this.

Then agree in principle that Israel has not alway acted in a way to bring about peace.

It's not so much a question of whether Bush or Kerry could have prevented this. The question is what you do after it starts.

If peace means pacifism and submission, then Israel is guilty as charged for "not keeping the peace".

They are going to do what they think they need to do to protect their people and their land, and we can hem and haw over it all we want to.

Kill thousands of civilians with your pinpoint strikes, turning those millions into tens of millions, and leaving the terrorists unharmed.

Sounds like a good way to lose both militarily and politically.

Israel cannot decide what kind of win it wants to go for, and as such, will lose on both fronts.

Sorry Mike, but if our Country was in the same position as Israel, surrounded at their borders with terrorists regimes who wish to annihilate their entire race and way of being I'd think we'd be doing the same.

Such extremists who have an apocalyptic view of their enemies and teaching their children that mass murder is the way to defeat them, even if you don't know them is beyond anything remotely human.

I'm not saying Israel is guiltless here, but to choosing to play Devil's Advocate and pandering to these terrorists is no way to stand up for one's right to exist and survive.

Just heard on the news that the Prime Minister of Israel apologized for the civilian deaths in two airstrikes.

Some on this board will think to themselves: "Sorry isn't good enough!"

I thought to myself: "Hezbollah and Hamas don't apologize for killing civilians".
