Sorry, I didn't know where to post this but since TIVO is for entertainment and media, I post it here: I love TIVO but I hate to pay the monthly fees. There is a nice dvd player/TIVO basic/DVR system that is for sale on Overstock. It is the Toshiba rs-tx60 (http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2....OD_ID=1678244). It retails for $600...but Overstock is selling the refurbished unit for $300. It has a 120gb hard drive, can watch and burn dvds and it has free TIVO basic in it. TIVO basic is 3-days worth of programming that shows up like a TIVO though you can't get a seasons pass. But, you can program it to tape shows at a certain time each week.

Anyway, just wanted to pass it along. Overstock is also offering 12% off of all purchases thru the end of the month, so that deal and other deals become a little better.
