Our opponents' results have virtually no effect on our RPI at this point. Our opponents have played a combined 600 some games. Our opponents' opponents have played a combined 15,000 games.

I get a kick out of how much guys get caught up in following the comings and goings of Lamar at this point in the season, for the very reason you state above.

BTW, losing on the road to Lamar hurts us no more than losing to AFA on the road instead, as far as the RPI itself goes (certainly the committee members would put a different qualitative value on it).
