We are in different worlds. You are a liberal and I am a conservative. Tell me you want your guy because you think his form of socialism is good for America. That's fine, you might have some arguments as to why his form of socialism might work. Don't try to convince me based on he is experienced the the repub. VP isn't. I would vote for my ex wife before I would Obama. |

Secondly, you're right, we haven't heard a lot ... we will though. But what I HAVE heard, I agree with. So I tend to think her ideology will align with mine as we go through this process. But the bottom line is that most of the time in a Presidential race, you're voting against someone as much as you're voting for someone.

The funniest part about all of this is that Palin scares the holy shiz out of libs, but they can't admit it. This entire campaign was supposed to be a foregone conclusion once Obama got past Hillary, especially given the foul mood of the country. Then along comes a nice looking, straight shooting woman from a state that's usually so irrelevant it can't even be considered a flyover state, and screws it all up.
I fully planned on sitting this one out. I'm not a huge McCain fan. But after seeing how Palin has been treated by the media and the outrageous double standard that exists amongst the left, I'm pissed. Obama can thank his media buddies for bringing a dormant Republican base back to life. Obama/Biden are now going to be forced to play their hand because of Palin's unapologetic conservatism. They have to provide a stark alternative, which is unapologetic liberalism, and unfortunately for them, it always loses. |

I would vote for McCain-Palin. I am not at all vague on Obama's positions and they are polar opposites of my own values. Plus I don't think he's qualified for the job.

Sure. I would love to see Ventura and Obama in a WWF ring. I'd love to see Palin and Obama in one too for that matter, but we'll have to settle for Slow Joe Biden.

Of the four people at the top of the two tickets, I think I like McCain the most and Palin the least. Interesting dilemma.
