I like this talk of an independent BYU and the prospective bowl picture, or lack thereof. I can honestly see both sides arguments.
That being said, if bowls didn't invite BYU, it could always go the New Mexico route and start their own bowl game. |

We wouldn't even have to go down to the Big Sky...the WAC would jump to have the other athletic programs of BYU in their conference. If the bid at independence were to fail, I'm guessing the WAC would even take the BYU football program in.
