Okay. I won't be surprised if it turns out he is actually gay, but I'm a bit hesitant to jump to that conclusion already.

will never, ever, ever admit that he is gay. That is the one thing he cannot do.

Sad thing is, he may actually believe he is not gay. And maybe he isn't. Maybe he has a strong same sex attraction that he fights, but occasionally has given in to. To me thats not gay.

To me gay is having a same sex partner and being proud of it.

Is gay a lifesyle or an impulse?

Gay versus straight is formally defined by whether you'd prefer to reach orgasm with the same or opposite sex. Even if a person occasionally reaches orgasm with the same sex, it does not mean the person is formally gay. Maybe Craig would have been in the women's bathroom, except it would have looked even worse for a senator to have been picking up on women in bathroom stalls.

I once had a patient who was a sex addict. He had some ridiculous number of lifetime sex partners. In the thousands. He said it didn't matter to him, male, female, black, white, whatever.

He didn't consider himself gay. But since gay men were frequently able and willing, so was he.

Maybe Craig should plead insanity. There is an old Cheech & Chong routine with a judge and a man on trial for rape.
