I just love reading cougarboard,

"we did knock 2 of their D-line out"

"UCLA is not very good without the pac-10 ref advantage"

"we softened them up and showed Utah what worked"

Face it UCLA is overrated, we shot ourselves in the foot, i still dont think Utah is a good team but they are playing conservative mistake free football right now. UCLA does need to open the playbook a little.

Gotta give 'em credit. They came to play, and of they hang on it's a respectable win.

All the same, though I took some of crap for saying this last week, UCLA is not a top 12 team. Way overrated.

Where the hell was this the first two weeks? I am under no illusions that UCLA is great, and I think that we will be kicking ourselves all season over that one. But I still think they are the best team the Utes have played and the utes show up and look like world beaters. Whittinghams boys are among the most unpreditable teams in the nation.

Two observations:

1. Utah has a way of showing up when they have no business playing, and losing games they have no business losing. Even so, it seems that predictions of a losing season may have been rather premature.

2. BYU should have beaten UCLA last week. That was a golden opportunity lost.

No kidding, this is like Georgia Tech 2005 all over again.

Right now they look like they should finish 11-2. Just think, as BJ and the other injured players return, the whole team will only be deeper and better.

But we know they will lose several close ones.
