Default Slipstream team jersey design contest

The team is sponsoring a contest open to the public to design their official team jersey for the 2008 season.

http://slipstreamsports.com/fun.jerseyform.php

Contest ends next friday, Sept 21. After that, top five designs will be voted on by the public.

Maybe we can copycat the 2nd place finisher for our CG team jersey. (oops, Did I just type that outloud?)

Check that - contest submissions are due by 12:00pm PST on 9/15/07. Not that anyone here actually cares, I would just hate to feel responsible for making someone late with their potential winning entry.

I'mnot sure this is a good diea for CG. You saw the part about every design must have argyle, right? I don't know about you, but few things scream fast bike racer to me like a nice pastel argyle. (not)

613 designs submitted. I browsed about 15 of them before my eyes started to burn from all of the burnt orange and baby blue argyle.

Apparently they were supposed to have narrowed it down to their favorite 5 so the public could vote on them, but I didn't see anything more about it.

I found it.

I voted for #5, the least bad of the five.

And, as I recall, you are hopeful to make the second best of those 5 the choice for all of us? Thanks, pal.

I liked #4 better than #5. I think the darker blue works better as the overall color. The angled 'Slipstream' on the back is novel, too.

I like #4 but I screwed up when voting and voted for #1 which is hideous.

Got more than one email address? I'd guess you could vote once for each address, unless they're also dropping cookies - in which case, just delete cookies and vote again. Stuff that ballot box!
