Just thought I clarify here...Detmer never lost to Utah. He scored a bunch of TDs in the fourth quarter of that game, but that was Covey's defeat.

How dare Y besmirch the holy name of St. Ty. May he be knocked down a notch or two.

Pardon me. Terrible mistake on my part. I ask for your patience and forgiveness, but most of all I appeal to the mercy of Ty for attaching his name to a Utah loss.

Go watch the 1990 Miami game again, and throw three All Hail Ty over Miami. Wash in the River Ohio seven times and thou shalt be cleansed.

Arch, YOhio - I can never admit to something that isn't true. Hancock was in bounds.

Jay - It was '93 when Yergeson hit the long FG to win the game. BYU had a last gasp chance afterward, but the QB threw an interception - I believe it was his 4th or 5th of the game.

And the Y fan deserved the beat down he got from Pridis. But the best part was that that incident was prompted Val Hale to want to disallow opposing teams from bringing flags into the stadium because they caused incidents like that. Never did it occur to Hale that personal accountability is the best way to prevent such behavior.

overreact much?

You said Detmer was the QB in the '88 loss. He wasn't. I simply clarified.

I remember it as a cheapshot, but I'm admittedly biased.
