Default My review of Flight of the Conchords, Season 1 DVD

My wife bought it for me for our anniversary, and I've loved it. I had seen most episodes through YouTube, but it's nice to have them all in one place.

Every time I watch an episode, I laugh even more, and I'm starting to really like all the songs. I love how their songs cover different genres, but it's not like they're just changing the lyrics in a Weird Al kind of way, they actually write the music.

My favorite character is probably Murray, the band manager. The actor does a great job of portraying this naive, pathetic man.

The one downside is that it is just the episodes, no bonus features. This was quite disappointing since I wanted to see outtakes, extra songs, or interviews with the cast. Other than that, a great purchase.

That song is genius.

"Another way that love is similar to tape....that i've noticed. Is sometimes it's hard to see the end. You search on the roll, [you search on the roll!] with your fingernail...again and again, and again and again!"

Very deep
