Any dream interpreters out there?

Typically my dreams are very vivid, I almost always remember them and at times I am able to effect change or interact with the dream state –even waking up to relieve myself and then return to the story. I rarely dream the same dream but they often follow a similar theme.

Recently I had a new dream that was disturbing and interesting. I dreamt I had contracted an unknown disease that consumed my face. Surgeons did the best they could to reconstruct facial features but in the end I would be forced to live the rest of my life wearing a mask –similar to a phantom of the opera mask.

Any one want to venture into the realm of interpretation?

Lucid Dreaming I have been told is a skill that one can develop. Its happened to me a couple of times and is incredible.

I think it means that you are really American and the mask you are forced to wear is Canada's communism.

I echo these sentiments. Had you been in the US, you would have received the necessary surgery and saved your face.

I tend to remember my dreams very well and, like TooBlue, can often wake up and then go back to sleep and resume the dream.

I never have recurring dreams (unfortunatley, as I enjoy the dirty ones) but when I do, they are usually nightmares where I am being stalked by Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter. Totally scares the shit out of me. During the dreams I try to avoid him as much as possible and when I am around him I try to be as polite as possible and to not piss him off, lol.
