Default Turns out Clemens knew McNamee spoke to Mitchell

something like a week before the Mitchell report was released. He knew because McNamee contacted "Team Clemens" and warned them. Rusty Hardin admits that Clemens even listened to the taped conversation.

But Hardin says (I guess to try and make Clemens' subsequent comments appear to make sense) that Clemens had no idea if Mitchell was actually going to include that information in the Mitchell report.

All this protest that he was shocked to find out he was in the Mitchell report--I'm sorry, this is just another lie by Clemens.

He has the worst lawyers ever. Rusty Hardin is an idiot.

But but but McNamee is a SCUMBAG LIAR, a SCUMBAG LIAR I TELL YOU!!!!

Methinks Clemens protests too much. All of Clemens protests and statements are exposing him as the foolish liar that HE is.

McNamee may be a drug dealer and admitted purjurer but it does not mean he isn't telling the truth now. Strange how the liar McNamee's current story continues to be substantiated.

Clemens was asked by the Mitchell commission to come in and discuss the allegations......months and months ago. Weren't all players given a chance to address them? Clemens declined, as did pretty much everyone else.

The contents of the Mitchell report should be of no surprise to him.

Especially since he did everything contained therein....

And now this from Waxman: The hearings were not necessary, we did it because Clemens wanted the hearings.

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3247113

From Waxman
Quote:
"I didn't particularly want to do a hearing," said California Democrat Henry Waxman, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. "We held the hearing because Roger Clemens wanted that hearing, because Roger Clemens wanted the chance to speak in public and make his case."
From Clemens
Quote:
Any suggestion whatsoever that this hearing was the result of our request is simply not accurate," said Lanny Breuer, one of Clemens' lawyers.
