Default Played some pickup last night...

One of the guys on the other team has a playing style similar to a freight train. He plays big and heavy, and bowls right through the lane going to the rim. And he fouls a lot.

I got a rebound and was passing it out on the break, he fouls the crap out of me and hurts himself. He was shaking his arm for about 30 minutes. And then he is going for a rebound, spins off his man and runs over my leg and falls on his face, taking out his defender as well. Of course, I was still standing there just fine.

Man, do I love it when big, bruising, fouling guys hurt themselves.

Well, problem was this morning when I got out of bed, I could barely bend my knee. Don't know what happened there.

Was playing ball a few months ago. I pivoted on my left foot, felt a pop in my knee (no pain). Could barely put weight on it the next day.

It's such a foreign experience, feeling random pains like that you NEVER had when you were younger...

Yeah, I went and played some hoops about a year and a half ago and felt great. I woke up in the middle of the night and tried to walk and felt a stabbing pain in my heel. I have a heel spur and plantar fascitis, but I have never been able to figure out, why it did not hurt at all before that day.

I am getting old I can barely reach the rim. I should just quit now.

You know the discussion is about playing with a 10 ft. rim, right?
