Since it is the left that has traditionally been the champion of humanitarian causes, I think that this line of thinking really creates a problematic paradox for people like Obama who would pull out now, no matter what. It will be interesting to see the left grapple with this if Jolie and others are successful in raising the profile of this issue.

Say what you will about this woman, but she has put her money where her mouth is. I don't think these words can be easily dismissed coming from her mouth.
