Default David Angilau Suspended Indefinitely

Just heard the news. Couldn't locate any postings about it, nor any arrest records, so no info on what he did.

He was one of the 6 players suspended last year in the "Kessman incident".

The incident included Kessman and five other BYU freshmen being suspended for team rules violations. Kessman then asked for and received his release from the team. Kessman's dad claimed he was suspended for drinking a sip of his girlfriend's Latte'. Everyone with half a brain understands there's more to the issue than a latte.

You saying "drinking a sip of his girlfriend's latte" is a euphemism for something else? Come to think of it, it does sound a little dirty.

Funny. But no - Kessman's father claimed it was an actual Latte (or another coffee-ish drink) he took a sip of that got him suspended. I can't find the link to the article now, but I believe it was in the SLTrib. It's probably in the blogs section, which I can't access at work...

You can probably find links to some articles on the issue on Cougarblue or cougarboard. Here is some posts in pdf form (for some reason) discussing it, along with a link that doesn't work anymore. A cursory search of the SLTrib archive didn't turn up anything, but I don't really want to pay for access to it anyway.

At least he wasn't suspended for taking a sip of his girlfriend's fuzzy navel....as far as we know.

Groan.

Incidentally, it looks like it was a vanilla cappuccino rather than a latte. It's all greek to me.
