Does anyone know any fun party games for kids?

We will be celebrating our son's 7th birthday in a little over a week, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any fun party games for kids. We might have up to possibly 30 kids showing up, and we are having the party in a grassy park. We have some games set up that the kids can rotate through, like at a carnival, but we are searching for more game ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I have four boys and we often did:

1. Kite flying ... buy cheap kites and see who can fly the highest
2. Obstacle courses
3. Treasure hunts
4. Scooby Doo themed mystery to sovle ... rigged the house as if it were haunted with sounds etc.
5. relay races

Doesn't your son have some great games that he learned at 'Burning Man' that he could share with the other kids?

Anybody here 'soltar pipa?' Anyone who has read Kite Runner knows what it is. It's when you lace your kite string with a mixture of glue, glass and rock and attempt to cut down the other kites that are flying in your neighborhood by diving your kite into their strings. It's a game played in Brasil during the spring time that usually ends up killing a motorcyclist.

In brazil they put little pieces of class on the screen and try and cut each others kites down. If you cut down a kite you own it
