Pre-Friday sex poll
How many persons privately regret, even just a little, the sexual prohibition of Mormon culture, and wish they could explore, if but for one year?
Private poll so nobody has a report by Tex sent to the Policing Members committee.

Or even common law, which makes adultery illegal (albeit never prosecuted)?

It's Mormon religious prohibition, and culturally it's frowned upon. And it's impractical.
For example, several of my single Mormon male friends inform me, "if a guy ever wants to mess around, DON'T do it with a Mormon gal, as she will feel guilty, inform her bishop and suddenly, you were a rapist preying upon her innocent soul." Our culture, and for many, most or all, this is a good thing, frowns upon nonmarital sex, probably due to the religious proscription.

Are you talking about a Kirilenko type of free pass where the wife is on board? BTW, I don't buy for a second that even if a wife said they were OK with it that in practice it would actually work out that way.

This is purely hypothetical. I'm not talking about an open marriage [I haven't seen one that works], I'm talking, if you could magically become single without consequence, and were allowed as much nonmarital sex as you could want for two years, or if you could go back in time with that provision so that you could be more experienced for your mate, would you take this hypothetical which will never be?

During Carnival, don't the Brazilians put a blindfold on the large Christus on the mount?
Maybe the same thing would work in Salt Lake City? |

Those that voted they would never dream of it are either liars, or virgins.
