You knew that, of course, but local Christian talk radio just provided this gem:

1. We shouldn't worry about endangered species because its all about the survival of the fittest. If they can't evolve and adapt to human beings, then they deserve to die.

Followed by:

2. They need to stop teaching evolution in school. It's false and evil.

That's hilarious. It is so twisted on several levels that you really would have a hard time making it up if you tried.

nuts - but even on the religious right it would be a minority that would agree with those comments.
