His version is the same as the LDS church's statement linked in this thread. That they were invited to attend services at another church, were asked to leave and did so immediately.

What you guys didn't eat babies on your mission?

In Brazil we occasionally had people approach us and ask if we could look in our bags. I think they were disappointed when they didn't find the baby heads they were expecting.
