If you have dirt, he is going to expose it. The Enquirer is for when you want to know which aliens abducted Jessica Simpson. People magazine is for when you want to see what Jessica Simpson wore while she went shopping at Fred Segal. TMZ is for if you want to see an actual clip of Jessica Simpson's sex tape with Tony Romo. Like i said, big difference between TMZ and the Enquirer.

Your knowledge of it is truly amazing, but why would anybody devote so much time to something that brings so little enjoyment?

There are many on this site who love to study the nuiances of culture as it existed in prior eras......religion, politics, economics, government, etc... I definitely enjoy that, as well. What some call "pop culture," I view as the study of culture, religion, politics, economics, and government as it exists today. Today's pop culture is simply the classics of tomorrow. Keep in mind that I do not view "pop culture" as strictly movie stars and rock concerts. I view it as any current events and news....any popular culture. In 500 years, SeattleUte XXIII will be pompously referencing the obscure "Naked Mormon Calendar Letter" in an attempt to persuade people that his great-great-great....etc grandfather really wasn't crazy and that the LDS Church really is not true. Of course, SeattleUteXXIII will be the first one in a long line of SeattleUte apostates to convert back to the LDS Church when forensics show that his bloodline really wasnt that of the actual SeattleUte, but of a humble personal chef that would prepare meals for his namesake's wife and family and "deliver" them to their home.

CNN has it under "Top Stories" now.
When will the Church learn that by disciplining members for this stuff they are giving free publicity to the very thing they oppose? It's counterproductive. There is probably more to this guys disciplinary hearing than simply the calendar. If not, then the Church really learns to ignore this stuff so it doesn't get blown up in the media. http://www.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/wayof....ap/index.html |

MSNBC has it too.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25644641/ Says the guy hasn't been active since 2002. I wonder if he'll care if he gets excommunicated or disfellowshipped. |
